Toddy Rods (also known as Flip Dogs) were a popular way to heat drinks and add some table-side flair in the 18th and early 19th centuries. These particular Toddy Rods are handmade from wrought iron in Tennessee by a master blacksmith. Because they are all handmade the sizes vary. but a good approximation is 11-13 long.
